The work of the network is overseen by the DSEN steering group. The role of this group is to:
Maintain an overview of the range of existing activity.
Agree and set shared targets for action within and across relevant strategies.
Identify and prioritise best practice based on available evidence.
Inform the development of coherent action plans to tackle identified need.
Monitor progress against agreed targets and objectives and produce an annual report.
Identify and utilise opportunities to promote and raise awareness of sustainable energy.
Lobby appropriate bodies to ensure the needs of Devon (and/or Cornwall/South West) are understood and considered in national policy development.
